Serious question: Is no one else afraid of being injured?

Every rider I've ever talked to tells me: "It's not if you lay the bike down, it's when." Friend of a friend is in a wheelchair (temporarily) while his shattered femur heals up. A lady hit him while he had right of way.

Growing up, I remember meeting a German guy that had pins in his leg, which was also shorter than his other leg due to parts of bones missing, and he had trouble running on the treadmill and doing sports.

Anyways, I obviously think sportbikes look sick, but I'm afraid of them. Is no one else with me on this?

You only get one body. I trust myself, I just don't trust everyone else on the road. I figure once I save up enough MGTOW coins, I can pay to rent a sportbike at an actual racetrack with full leather + armor and professional instruction for a full weekend. That way i'll minimize the risk. For my MGTOW bros out there riding in public, I always look out for ya, but others don't and are on their phones. Stay safe and happy revving.

How is it real world as a normal rider? Been looking at 2016 ZX10Rs for my next bike but all the reviews I’ve seen are from like track day veterans and riding ninjas (no pun intended)
