I have been struggling a long time on how to write this post. But I just figured I would do it on a whim, as that is how I live my life anyway.

When I was a kid, I remember hearing that quote from Lost. "I walk among you, but I am not one of you". And that is how I always felt with me and the manosphere.

Everyone knows that it is very disadvantageous to be a man in today's western society, this is why these kind of posts get upvoted all the time on r/unpopularopinion .

Everyone knows about the divorce rapes.

​

​

Everyone knows that women cheat more than men do.

​

​

So I am acknowedging and accepting the major narrative of mgtow. Except one, and this is why I will never be accepted in the manosphere.

Not all women cheat. Not all women looks at a man as a cashcow. Most women just want most people want, someone to spend the rest of their days togheter with. Essentially, the argument about awalt is a postmodernist argument. And I hate postmodernism.

​

I am a modernist.

​

​

I could go on and on, the point here is this.

​

A game has been identified by many people, and it is the game of finding a good person to settle down with. And it is the hardest game there is to play. It is essentially like being a McCree at halfhealth in a field and Hanzo and Widow have the highground pointing their weapons at you.

And if you lose this game? Well, you lose everything. You just don't respawn and pick Winston instead.

Which is why I identified two must-haves:

1: Become financially independent and do not date a girl from my country, so if shit hits the fan, I can just run: This I am working on. I am currently doing work online and once I hit 1500 dollars a month, I will pick up my shoes, pick a location, and go there. I heard Eastern Europe is nice.

2: Finding the actual girl: This is why I go to this subreddit and others like r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen (Whether you agree with them or not, lets face it, they do not see shades of grey whatsoever) so I can read about red flags from a girl, and know what they are. I have learnt so much these past few months, and I have double checked the facts so I get the bigger picture. The meeting part and what not is not hard for me. Sure, I am overweight, but other than that I am very social and good looking.

All in all, I want to thank you MGTOW. You have helped me identify good values in a partner and the bad parts. On my main reddit account, anytime I stumble upon one of you, we only have pleasant convoes.
