My favorite is married guys who got hitched to their high school (or even college) sweetheart* -- often even the ONLY girl/woman they ever really "dated" or spent significant time with -- trying to tell ME (the lifelong single guy**) that they know more about women than I do...

And the absolute absurdity of that claim, just entirely escapes them; they don't get why I literally bust a gut in laughter at that.

* Or really ANY guys who married young, and then (5, 10, 15, 20+ years later) got DIVORCED from that kind of a early-age wife (or to be blunt if instead of married it's "broke up" with some similar age/length LTR "cohabit girlfriend") are really NOT any less absurd.

** But who dated a good dozen or more, for various lengths of time, and flirted/chatted up multiple dozens more...

Not to mention the additional info & wisdom obtained from watching others, or from things like late night phone calls from married/cohabiting buddies when they found out wife/gf was "cheating" on them (which was often a "Duh! dude... I/we tried to warn you..." situation), and with them then describing everything they learned HAD been happening, etc.

The only way a married man learns more is to end up divorced. I do not recommend it. Great quote, 24 years too late for me, but great none-the-less.
