Take a look at this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/aww/comments/c1v25s/my_son_has_a_developmental_coordination_disorder/

The title reads:

My son has a developmental coordination disorder and decided he wanted to run a 5k this weekend. Fearing he couldn’t finish and would be upset my husband and I discouraged him. He ran and finished anyway.

People who pointed out that parents should not discourage their sons/daughters and should let them fail all got downvoted into oblivion.

Apparently you are supposed to discourage other people from doing what they want because you fear that they will fail? Is that what most people think? Do people think that successful people never fail? Even the most successful people in this world have failed over and over and over again.

But I guess that's how you raise simps. You discourage them from being themselves, until they end up working a job they hate and settling for mediocre pussy.
