Um, Not to play devils advocate here but I logged in just to reply to this post.
I agree with the blog thing, its blatant and people should stop doing it... but pretty much everyone does, ALOT OF PEOPLE whose gained any sort of following on TRP promoted their blog on this site.
Elementary advice... 90 Percent of this sub is now re-hashed with slight spins. Why are you just pointing his out because he promoted his blog? Everything has pretty much already been said before but I still read it since even small changes in perspective are fresh and serve as reminders of what I should prioritize.

First of all the whole point of the oil change: thumb in asshole manuver is that it's unpredictable. Sometimes it's thumb in asshole. Sometimes it's pressure points. Sometimes it's grinding knuckles into your sternum. Sometimes it's being really oily so you opponents can't grab you. Unpredictability is the plan.
