First wave feminism was about women wanting to vote. Second wave was, thanks to the pill and abortion rights, about them being able to irresponsibly fuck around without consequence or social stigma. Third-wave feminism is about them needing to hate on and blame someone (i.e. US) because-ta-da!-even with all that ability to fuck around, they're still miserable. There you have it.
