Our society needs to put order and hierarchy back in place so we can stop worrying about things like whom to marry and focus on more important challenges.

There are two types of memory: crystal and working. Crystal memory is things you've read, seen, and remember. Working memory is used to figure out new things as you go.

There are many smart savages that keep their tribe's history in their head at all times. Then there are Anglo universities like Harvard with 10 million books. The Harvard guys are better at finding medicines and technology not necessarily because they are smarter but because they figure things out, write them down, and free up brain power to do other things.

We are moving backwards. We have a hard time replicating the feats of the past. We can barely re-engineer the tunnels in New York, nor can we make a better plane than the Concorde. Roman concrete was better than ours and we can't figure out how they did it.

Our ancestors figured things out, about the dispositions of gender and religion, wrote them into the law and culture and freed up brain power to focus on true innovation leading to greater wealth and power.

The hierarchy and rules in society is equivalent to crystal memory. The more hierarchy you have, the greater potential you have for true progress and growth.

Alas our best and brightest are too focused on relearning the basics of life on a daily basis. Our modern women use up brain power figuring out which man is more elite based on how quickly he responded to her text messages. Men have to decide which women is the least slutty by judging her photos.

We are wasting time, money, and memory holding us back.
