Seriously though, you make money for yourself so that you can lead a great life, buy things you need/want, travel when you want, and not have to worry about whether you will have money when your rent is due. Betabux only comes in when you have zero alpha qualities and you're only using your money to attract women.

The beta only becomes a "certainty" when a woman comes along and you place her above you in a psychological and power perspective.

Med school is an academic institution, not a male organism. Thus, it is neither alpha nor beta.

That being said, the med school population has more alphas per capita than most other settings. That's because admission and class rank are highly competitive, and the curriculum and career it prepares you for demand a high level of focus, logical/analytic thinking, social networking, and grit. These are motivated people competing for huge paychecks for important work in a position with an innately higher SMV.

How is it even a matter of alpha/beta? I mean, you could be in med school and be pretty beta & bland, but also could be a type a, outgoing individual.. It's what you make of it, obviously having a high status career will give you good standing in the world. If you do well in med school, develop confidence as a result of you getting comfortable with being a doctor & leading people, lift & have unique experiences like traveling, having fun, banging lots of women then I'd say med school is pretty alpha. On the other hand if you just grind through school and don't develop your personality, do nothing all day and don't develop connections/friendships with future doctors & slay some girls then it's pretty beta.

What's the point of this post?

A true "red pill" lifestyle revolves around financial freedom.

The ability to do what you want and not having to answer to, or be reliant on others for financial security.

Being a Doctor is a high status career. Great. Now what are you going to do with it?

Confidence, charisma, social influence and power are traits that can be learned. They do tie in with status, but only if you are actively working on those traits. Some people buy into the societal role "Oh he's a Doctor or Lawyer" so it does make it easier for those unaware of TRP.

All in all, it's what you make of it. There are meek doctors who call the shots at work, but are beta bitches at home to their wives. There are alpha doctors who are outgoing, and have tons of social connections. It's not the job, it's the individual.

Med school will definitely give you high status, but don't do it to compensate for your lack of alphaness or confidence. In other words, don't become one of these try hard alpha faggots.

Instead be the very professional, smart, caring doctor. This sets you apart from all the other doctors who just don't give a shit about their patients and will give you more pussy that you can count. You also need to escalate obviously, status only gives you so much.

Are you a resident? Think about the commitment to studying you put in during M1 and M2. Then think about the commitment you put into rotations AND studying for shelf exams during M3 and M4. Also think about having to get blamed and yelled at for a lot of stuff that may not totally be your fault during the rotations. Med school could honestly turn an alpha into a beta given the heavy amount of operant and classical conditioning that happens as part of the hidden curriculum. Feel free to rebut me if you can.

You might have a little power in your own little medical world but when you come outside that hospital, you go back to being a little bitch when you run into real motherfuckers. No matter how badass you think you are there's always someone who can put your ass in its place. How about being a real "alpha" by being the guy people look up to out of respect because you do what you say, make solid decisions, and provide real leadership instead of becoming Chad.
