In our consumer based society, we are taught that if you want to be successful/attractive/happy you should have things that show off your status, buy products to make yourself attractive, and purchase things to attain happiness. Many of what we consider to be "successful people" accumulate wealth, status, and influence, and possess a lot of material things, such as expensive cars, watches, yachts, and homes. They carry beautiful women in their arms, and we see their faces plastered on social media, magazines, and television ad nauseum.
Of course many of us see these things and think, "Wouldn't it be nice to have...". Many people misinterpret this and think that if they chase those same material things they too will become successful. However this form of thinking can only lead one into becoming an imitation.
Buying a nice car/watch/etc doesn't make you successful, Having women in your life doesn't make you successful, being popular doesn't make you successful.
The reverse is true.
Being successful means you can buy x/y/z that you enjoy. Being successful attracts women to your life. Being successful leads you to being popular.
Now that brings up the discussion of what entails being successful, and that varies depending on the subject, and is somewhat subjective, but I would that one cannot be truly successful without these elements.
- Competence
- Independence
- Freedom
If you are competent in what you do, have earned your independence from others, and possess the freedom to do as you please - I would personally consider this a recipe for success, and you would see parallels between this statement and many "successful" people.
But when you are chasing something in order to emulate success you sacrifice both your freedom, and independence. You sacrifice both of those things because you now become dependent on your status symbols. You no longer have the freedom to choose your own path, nor independence, as you no longer own your status, but your status owns you. To dig deeper would to understand that status attained through emulation is fleeting. A constant effort must be made to maintain the facade - such is unsustainable.
Ultimately being successful is subjective to a degree. You might aspire to become an embodiment of masculinity. You work out hard in the gym sculpting yourself. You train your body and your mind and gain independence. You learn that you don't need other peoples approval, and you build a life that you're proud of. This could be your definition of success - however to an average BP man his idea of success is marrying a slut after she gets done riding the cock carrousel at 35 and getting duty sex once a month. In his eyes, he could be the pinnacle of success, but was it him that decided that's what success meant? Or was it BP society that taught him that becoming a human ATM is the highest form of Enlightenment?
Now this might be get a little construed right now.
Bitter are you saying that I should settle for living a shitty life and never chase anything of value?
No, I'm not.
What many men try to do in their first stages of taking the Red Pill is try to embody their ideal version of Chad. They try to emulate him and his success. This isn't a bad start, and It can actually be good in the beginning until you start to understand things better. However there comes a point where you must define for yourself what is meaningful and what is not. This is a power that many blue pill man lack. They let meaning in their life and actions be attributed by blue pill society. They let their goals and ambitions be set by the women in their life. They are only following what everyone else is doing - because everyone else is doing it. This is emulating success. They are chasing the fruits of success rather than planting the seeds of success.
A true Red Pill man decides for himself what is important. The biggest difference is that he produces, not consumes. In a community, those who produce the most are considered the most valuable (Think C.E.O vs minimum wage worker). People who emulate success only consume. They consume the products that they think will fool people into believing that they are successful. However truly successful people produce. They create value. These sorts of people are easily distinguishable. They make the best friends, the best fathers, and the best lovers. They are the highest, most enlightened Chads that bless the world with their presence.
It is because these people produce value that they are able to buy the things they want. It is because they are successful that they are attractive. It is because they produce value that they are popular and liked.
You might not consider making shoes sexy, but if you make the best god damn shoe in Europe, and successfully create a multi million dollar company. I promise you there will be a line of women waiting to jump on your dick.
Do you chose to consume value, or create it? What will you become competent in? How will you earn your freedom and independence? What sort of empire you chose to build, and how you will do it is up to you. Good luck, and I wish you the best of success to you and your endeavors.
