It's a trap. By the time a young Male reaches working age, his single mother has already reached the wall. Her usefulness to other men has flatlined, but she needs someone to "take care of her". So she reduces her sons ability to think for himself, and turns him into a "Mamas boy" I.E. income cow. The boy will work harder to insure that his mother is taken care of, and will ferociously defend his "choice". The mother will quickly prevent any other women from staking claim in her sons income with the whole "Shes not good enough for my boy" routine. She will continue to manipulate and control her son until she dies, leaving him with practically no life skills or tools to go out on his own.

Females have this weird instinct that they like small cute things and they actually don't want children to grow up because they only feel useful and relevant as long as there are children depending on them.

I was still a child, albeit older, when my older sister outright asked me why I had to grow up, I used to be so cute. I still remember it hit me hard, why she would want that--being a kid all I wanted was to grow up.

My mother really didn't teach me much that was in her domain, doing laundry, cleaning, etc, I had to learn alone. It kind of sucked when I was dropped off at a dorm at age of 14. Today, with the internet it's much easier. I saw a female co-worker ridicule her husband because he messed something up with the laundry. So his mother never taught him, and neither did his wife, only mocked him.

It's almost as if they wanted to keep men in the dark to remain relevant. I, on the other hand, and other males I observed, are extremely happy to teach kids pretty much anything and feel pride when they learn.

It's also a toolset for the narcissist. They use it as a form of "power" over their grown children.

Years ago, a stupid cunt in IT called a meeting for our group to cover how our networks function, on which servers are public/private, how the web site functions on the backside, how a few databases interact with all that.

She brings toy trucks and play blocks - presumably from her brat kids - to use as props to explain this shit. So, instead of using a white board or the overhead with some real diagrams, she baby-talks to 24 grown adults how our networks function. It was fucking bizarre, and of course nobody can call her out on this, or she'd cry and report you to HR. This is infantilizing the group. She felt weak, and wanted to feel superior, so she made us into kiddos. lol

Mothers will keep you around forever even if they didn't need. I bounced with 19 and no regrets.
