I’m a successful researcher in chronic disease. Ive published a couple of books and do media. And like many men have been very hurt by a woman.

Some readers may find this distasteful. But I would be interested your perspective.

Ted Bundy is perhaps the world’s most infamous serial killer. He killed at least 30 people, maybe more, likely all of them women. He’s seen as a psychopath and people laugh that a woman may have pulled the switch at his execution.

If you read his psychological evaluation their were two events which destroyed this man and caused him to take the sad route he took.

  1. His mother slept with a stranger passing through their town. She gave birth to Ted and gave him away, no one would take the baby so his grandparents raised him telling him she was his sister. He found out she was in fact his mother when his cousin and he were fighting as kids and his cousin showed Ted his birth certificate. Ted ran away crying scarred for life.

  2. His “first girlfriend” came from a family with money and he was made to feel inferior because he did not make enough money. They always use her car as his “wasn’t good enough”.

  3. His “first love” a girl called “Liz” cheated on him by getting drunk and sleeping with another man. In his psych interview he recalls this story and staring into space says “this was the last straw”. The doctor recalls “as Ted said this, I was looking at a very hurt man”.

After this Bundy developed dark personality characteristics, unhealthy sexual activities and years later went on to kill.

This is not justification, but instead reporting of facts. None of this is reported in documentaries etc but is cited by psychologists as the triggers for Bundy’s horrendous activities.
