Notice that her non-apology doesn't even admit responsibility for anything; all she does is give herself plausible deniability for everything she tried to do while foisting any culpability onto some unnamed (but no doubt MALE) person's shoulders.

The apology would've been pointless anyway, by pushing everything into the court of public opinion, all the effective damage is done up-front before any scrutiny or evaluation can be done; by the time it's all over, half-assed efforts like this close off the circle and leave the object of the witch-hunt to smoulder in a pile.

That's what you get from the #metoo era: all they have to do is concoct an accusation and the legions of cucked fools do the work.

This WASN'T an honest attempt at contrition, it was just a bit of post-hoc ass-covering meant to attempt some legal protection in case her victim tries to sue for slander or libel.
