Let me guess: farmers are empowered females and sheeps couldn't live that good without job gender quotas. Only the kinder sex with higher emotional intelligence could understand the sheeps' feelings. Obviously.

i have a lamb in my freezer.

i hand reared him till he began eating from my pastures. ringed his balls myself. shearing was done by hand and finally i held him while his throat was slit. his remains are now interned back within the soil he grazed for 8 months.

there is sadness there for sure but also tenderness from 5 hours of slow cooking.
