Today I joined the gym near my house. I was definitely heads down and getting it done during my workout. On a break in sets, a guy just walked up to me and started saying “I just wanted to say you look nice. I hope that’s not inappropriate.” I thanked him. He continued to say “would you want to get coffee sometime?” I said yes. Exchanged numbers and now we have a date tomorrow. To be honest, I felt proud of him and he inspired me to have more confidence. I know how hard that can be for someone to do that and I never thought I would be someone who would get approached! Anyway. He was nervous, I could tell but it worked out in his favour. Just give it a try!
