In need of some opinions on my thoughts, not sure if I am thinking this through properly. Would loved to have this conversation with my father but he is a simp and repeats whatever my mother tells him. (mostly stuff that benefits her)

Currently in Eastern Europe (unemployed looking for a job with minimal expenses), with the real possibility to go back to my old company in Canada. Would have to live with parents but in a couple years would be able to save up enough to buy property and build a modest house in the countryside (back in EE), plus purchase a car as well. (atm have no debt and less than 45K in savings).

Currently living with a pretty shitty roommate - my brother - who is not cooperating when it comes to household chores and behaves like a 5 year old. In Canada would have parents whose marriage is pretty much in the shitter and would have to listen all the bs thats's going on.

The goal is to escape the rat race and to have a homestead. Having some major second thoughts about leaving Canada prematurely, but not sure if that's because I haven't got a job yet.
