The following is an excerpt from his latest book, "Like A Thief In Broad Daylight" and my response.

I wouldn't recommend it even to a fan of Zizek, but there are some passages which made me think, or feel like to comment.

Let’s begin with the basics. In the West, at least, we are becoming massively aware of the extent of coercion and exploitation in sexual relations. (Chapter 4)

Oh... really? That's a news to me.

When women dress provocatively to attract male looks, when they ‘objectify’ themselves to seduce them, they don’t do it by offering themselves as passive objects: they are the active agents of their own ‘objectification’, manipulating men, playing ambiguous games, including the full right to step out of the game at any moment even if, to the man, it appears to contradict previous ‘signals’. This active role of women is their freedom, which so bothers all kinds of fundamentalists, from Muslims who recently prohibited women from touching and playing with bananas and other fruit resembling the penis to our own ordinary male chauvinist ...

I have to agree. More often than not, women (at least in modern western women) are active agents of their own 'sexual objectification', a fact that every sane person is well aware of, but an inconvenient truth to most of SJW minded people and feminists. And this makes sense from evolutionary point of view. In general, men tend to be less selective about choosing sex partners than women (mainly because sperm is biologically much cheaper than egg), and women can exploit it as a means to taking as much resources as possible from men (by exhibiting ambiguous or contradicting sexual signal). Women who took this strategy in mating game would have had better chance of reproductive and survival success than those who didn't.

Female sexual liberation is not just a puritanical withdrawal from being ‘objectivized’ (as a sexual object for men), but the right actively to play with self-objectivization, offering oneself and withdrawing as one wishes.

Spot on! Indeed, much of modern feminism is all about female sexual liberation, removing any legal, institutional, and/or cultural constrains imposed on this female nature. Of course Zizek is a leftist simp, thus he approves of it. But at least, he is honest, not out-right hypocritical unlike a lot of feminists....
