If gender is a social construct, then what does toxic "masculinity" mean? Can a transgender woman who identifies as male be considered toxic? I don't get it.

No, it's just man-hating under a new name so they can claim they aren't man-haters, but they hate anything about men by calling it toxic masculinity. Makes it seem that they don't hate you specifically, just collectively anything you do. Basically anything that isn't a woman, so if you cry all the time and are a soy-boy bitch on your knees, you aren't toxic.

Toxic masculinity is supposed to be about the stereotypes and gender biases we impose onto men/boys which they then internalize. For example, telling a boy he should cry or get upset, that he needs to “man up” and shove down his feelings is a form of toxic masculinity. Moreover, there certainly can be toxic femininity too.
