I somewhat embrassed self improvement when I started going MGTOW, I increased my physical fitness (with both running and lifting weights), but I never really changed my diet or my drinking. Therefore the results where somewhat good, however I want to go further, so I decide to quit drinking for quite awhile and to clean up my diet. Also I'm starting my new job soon (my first serious job) so I thought it would be good to form this habbit when also starting to work at more regular hours. So some serious income (atleast for me I do not have high living costs), a better diet, and no drinking, with general hopefully more training and better results.

What I noticed thought is that as soon as I start to commit to these changes, I get quite a bit of anxiety. Which affect my sleep and which affect my general energy levels and happiness in day to day life. Now I'm fine sticking with these changes and argue that sometimes you have to force your mind and body into certain behavior you want to make a habit. So I will accept the fact that I might be a bit more anxious and tired for the next couple weeks (note that I only really commited too these changes about 5 days ago). It could also just be the stress of starting a serious job and not being totally free anymore to fill in my days like I want to. My question, does anybody else experience(d) this self improvement anxiety (its almost my body and subconscious want to stay in a certain comfort zone and therefore give me anxiety when I try to push out of it)? If so any tips to mabye lighten the load would be helpfull.
