This is how the NRL and AFL Footy Shows in Australia died. It started when they were getting women on the panel and all they wanted was serious journalism, but they sucked arse and didn'tunderstand the game well enough. They got slaughtered by other shows that were all male and mostly run by either life long fans or ex players. Those shows were funny and informative. Women just fucking ruin everything they fucking touch, looking at you Erin Molan and Neroli Meadows. I also can't fucking stand the women who they get in to host the cricket coverage. They don't know shit about the fucking sport and offer nothing but a skirt.

The ones who commentate on sports are even worse! Had to stop a few NHL games because couldn't stand to listen to some THOT who thinks she knows men's elite hockey lol

biggest problem is that the women don't really understand the sport like the male commentators, typically the male commentators/announcers are lifelong fans and often actually played the sport either professionally or at-least college level.
