Her whole side of the family are some of the most toxic women you'll ever meet. Bare in mind they are all full out "man haters". I mean this, they are horrible excuses of human beings. Over 6 years ago, my aunt divorced my uncle. She being the money hungry whore she is, took him to court and cleaned him out. No kids thankfully but he still got fucked hard with our biased courts here in Canada. She's been bad with money her whole life, hence why the marriage ended. She blew through all the monthly checks, even the money he sent to her just to help out. He's a really caring guy so you know how much the leaches prey on good guys like that. Fast forward to present. He's back on his feet, making more than when he was married, heath back on track, pretty in shape for a 53 year old. While she is still living paycheck to paycheck, health on the decline because she refuses to stop the cigarettes and drugs.
Now to my mom. She got a lot of her toxicity from my late grandmother. Exactly why she and my aunt are so toxic towards men. All three of them have been extorting men their whole lives. Never met my original grandfather because she essentially killed him (long story, I'll share it another time). Step grandfather passed when I was a kid. Two really great guys from what I remember and was told. My dad has been trying to bail out my aunt for over 5 years. She's still family after all. Yet my mom still talks to down to him every single day. All while asking him for more money because you guys know women. No matter what you give them, its never enough. When my mom and aunt are in the same room, its pretty bad. Every man for miles scatters as my dad says.
My uncle has been in no contact with my aunt for the last few months. Still is. Yet she goes out of her way to try to slither back into his life. Showing up at his work, emails, calling him on different phone numbers. He laughs it off. The divorce really did save his life as he says quite often. I've gotten closer with him, we are both over 8 months sober and making a pretty good amount of money.
There is a lot more to the story as the two have cause so much bullshit and headaches over the last few years. But you get the idea. I realized as I got older why my dad put up with my mom's shit all these years. Anything is better than being raised by a single mother. I'm grateful for my dad dropping the red pills over the years. He doesn't want the same fate for me. With myself leaving in a few months and my sister graduating at the end of the month, I can see my dad leaving my mom. Or at least settling some things.
I have an incredible amount of respect for the dudes here who stayed in a toxic marriage/relationship to make sure their kids grow up properly. Thanks for the wisdom as always gents. Have a great week
