I've always been a people watcher. I like to observe people and follow trends and whatnot. This has helped me make a few good financial trades over the years, amongst other things.

Anyway, I took my kids to a theme park today. One thing MGTOW has gotten me thinking about is the prevalence of single moms. Well, I observed the actual attendance of the park. There were many families, father and mothers. Many were publicly fighting, something I didn't notice as much in the past.

Another large demographic was 3 generation families. It often seemed like the grandparents were financing the venture but that is pure speculation based upon dress, rings, other jewelry, and the behavior of the parents and children. Walmart behavior is easily recognizable. Neck tats are also a better than average indicator! ;)

Another major attendee was single moms with their mom. I was a bit surprised by how common this was. I'm sure some I observed had left the rest of the family to go on their own with their mom... Though I'd be surprised if this was the majority.

Another large group were single men with their kids (me). This was not uncommon. I also wasn't surprised at this demographic since I'm part of it and understand what it entails, etc.

A very absent demographic were single moms and their kids without other family members. I only suspected 2 or 3 for the entire day, and I was looking after I noticed the shortage. I'll leave the MGTOW community to come to its own conclusions but I've got a few pretty good ideas of why there was such a shortage.

I had another thought during the day from these observations. It went back to a concern I had over the many years I was married. When watching the single mothers and their moms, I could see the strong family resemblances. And by God, that wall hits hard! In my case, I had seen my mother-in-law for years and pics from before I knew her. Since she was in her 20's or early 30's, she had digressed quickly! The wall kicked her ass! No attraction at all. I had been worried about my ex and if I'd still be attracted as what I now know as the wall, got a hold of her and had its way.

Now, she's my ex and I don't care how bad she ages. Haha! The wall is all over her and my concern is zero. That was my big takeaway for the day!

GYOW, gents!
