If there is any trend in society away from either 1) marriage, or 2) having children, I'm not seeing it. Eveywhere I go, all the time, I basically see families with kids. I'm not saying they are necessarily happy, I'm just pointing out what I observe.
I rarely if ever encounter single men or women anymore. Maybe I'm too old, but still, I'm living in an apartment in a major city, and over the past 10 years it seems like everyone I encounter at work is married. I rarely if ever see couples without kids.
What I'm trying to say guys, is that, I acknowledge our existence, I acknowledge the many problems we are having, and maybe there might be more of us as time goes on. But even now, to this very day, we are not part of a general trend. We just aren't.
It's just amazing to me how many people are still invested in the narrative, invested in the system. I don't believe in the system, but they do. They still do, and they keep the present system going and going.
