So went to see the movie totally blind, and boy was I surprised.

There's a scene that goes.

Grandparents : " think of what the child needs."

Mum, yelling. : " well what about what I need! I need her! That's it. I'm taking the child and leaving. You're just after the money."

Years later, it's shown that the mum used her child college fund for vacations, wine, and holidays. Thus the child no longer can afford college.

Child :" how can you do that?! "

Mum:" Well I deserve a reward for buying this house! This car and all your clothing and food!" ( with the fund money)

movie also had a few gems in it such as Chad getting the girl instead of childhood nerd friend . Girl ignoring said nerd calls and texts when they had a scheduled meeting. A girlfriend instantly breaking up with a successful man when he had cancer (I'm not a nurse!)

Tldr went see dog movie expecting dog. Got the normal female story instead.
