The glamorization of women extracting resources out of men and bragging about it must be a pretty sad existence when you really think about it. I can’t help but think that this is the number one reason why women are so miserable, they aren’t making things happen for themselves.

They miss out on learning opportunities from hard work. The satisfaction of taking on something impossibly hard and finishing it has been an invaluable life experience. It adds to the solitude I feel when I have free time. There is a calmness that comes with the confidence in knowing that If all else fails I always have myself who I can truly rely on.

I’ve taken great pride in doing things for myself and others my entire life. It feels good to give back. It feels good to serve. It feels good to earn. It felt good when I fixed up my house, to fix up my yard, to help neighbors and family, it even feels good to be worn out from it. I may not have millions of dollars but I wake up feeling good because I made it happen for myself.
