Since men have no literal say in a woman's abortion decision, I believe that state legislators should pass an intent to conceive contract law. It would be a contract that a woman and a man both have to sign, date, and have notarized, a minimum of 45 days prior to a woman's conception stating that both agree to have a child. If the intent to conceive contract is not signed by both, and witnessed by a notary, then the woman would be unable to sue a man for child support, and a man would be legally indemnified Against Child Support Decisions by the court. In other words, if a woman tries to trap a man into child support payments or marriage by becoming pregnant, and if she couldn't prove that she had his permission to do so for 45 days prior to conception, she would lose all rights to his money. This would be for both married, and unmarried couples. It would also absolve a man of Child Support even if he was married at the time of conception. There could also be an amendment to it stating that if the child is proven to not be his genetically, no matter how long he had been raising the child at the time it was discovered, then he would not be liable for child support from that point forward either. What do you think the chances would be of a feminist supporting this type of free choice long would be?
