For a second I thought he got fired for downplaying her attractiveness, like he should've said she's a gorgeous queen instead of just "not bad". I've seen people get mad at anyone who points out that she is old and used.

The heavy-handiness of this firing was, for me, similar to an old case that made its way onto national news: Mackenzie vs Miller Brewing Co. http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,138068,00.html The tl;dr is that the guy was having a water cooler discussion of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry’s gf had a name hat rhymed with a female anatomy part. When a female coworker didn’t understand, Mackenzie pointed to the word in the dictionary. He got fired and then sued.
