I'm a few weeks into studying a course called " American and British literature ", where we would spend time reading lots of books and discussing matters such as the themes and the characters of the stories. At the beginning i couldnt dodge it, cuz it was mandatory, and the university always pre-register important subjects for all students.

I can already smell what was wrong with the class from a mile away. Our lecturer was a post-wall feminist with dyed hair, dressing like she goes to the club every night in the week. To this day it's still a god damn mystery to me how she landed her job. I personally think she's out of her mind. She would spend every lesson boasting about her life, and how she "liberated" herself. I still remember one time when she tell the class of how she left her husband and her children just because the man had "different opinions". Sadly, the husband was stupid enough to kept working, earning money for both his kids and his ungrateful wife, hoping that she would return. On top of that, the bitch also abuses the dude mentally and physically. She was just laughing all the time, saying " I only retaliate oppressors ". And then came the bullshit preaching, about " It's all in your feelings, facts can't tell you what's right " , " Stand up for your self-worth, don't give in to misogyny ".

I got worried and disgusted when all of females in my class stood up and screamed " YAS KWEEN " , " MAH LIFE MAH RULE ". I tried to look around for any dudes that realize what was going on . But nah, the males, they too, smiled and cheered for the teacher. I was just shocked and couldnt believe in my eyes. Just what the fuck

Following weeks didnt get better. We discussed novels, yes, but everything the class did was bashing male characters and rationalizing awful female characters "OMG she cheated ? but i bet it's because the man was a terrible person. Oh how awful she didnt have any choice " . What a fucking joke.

I just wanna run the fuck outta here. I dont care if it means paying money to retake the course. I would happily attend another class with a different lecturer next semester. I refuse to sit through this shit show.
