When man first came about, he was at the whimsy of women; his action dictated purely by intrinsicality; lust. Not a semblance of rationale, nor a scintilla of reluctance - pure, unadulterated acquiescence.
One day, something began to change. Two heads had become one. No longer was biology the sole determinant - was it through epiphany or mutation? Man had developed volition, and much to the chagrin of his female counterparts.
As all other men loped with only pussy on the mind, one man pondered. Asked by a woman to sacrifice himself, he deliberated. "Why? "What's in it for me?" (Is what more articulate man now presumed he'd mused) And while he went about, toiling and travailing now for himself, he felt a tug on his hide. Gingerly tilting his head, he gazed upon the female frown - nay an unfamiliar sight. She began to wail, and he stood there poised; phlegmatic; unperturbed. Amidst her emotional eruption, he uttered just one word: "No." The woman froze in disbelief. Bewildered by the man's sense and reason - something women still haven't come to grips with even now. She marched away, still wielding her self-entitlement but with now dissipated pride.
Little did the man know that one mere word would reverberate throughout history, affecting our entire existence. There're many men, like myself, that are forever pleased he did. And while many men at the time were being burnt by the discovery of fire, his action would prevent many-a man from being burnt for a lifetime.
The end.
