It's damage control and further devide and conquer.

White women can only make false accusations against powerful white men, but not against black men.

It's most likely a reaction to mitigate the fallout from the failed Kavanaugh hunt.

By the above, I mean the fact that the media blew up this storry to national attention, not that it was somehow orchestrated or "made to happen" or similar conspiracy BS.

TL;DR - It's a coordinated operation to win back / retain the black male vote. Don't believe the hype.
