We have an election here in Oz in about 4 weeks. Both of the major parties are trying to win the women's vote. The leftist party, Labor, have just announced they will be propping up childcare workers wages via direct government subsidy. These are predominantly women. The used to be right but now pretty left Liberal party have announced they will allow more women refugees than men. Neither of these policies I can vote for. I have applied for a postal vote and will be voting far right in the senate - our legislative assembly. I live in a safe Liberal seat and will be voting as far right there as I can, just to give men with balls some votes. I will be assigning all my preferences and will be avoiding giving votes to women, no matter the party. FYI: the senate ticket is huge, hundreds of candidates and tens of parties.
