I got a new job. It is corporate. I have to interact with people that I work with to perform my function every day. Most of these people in my group are women. They're all horrifically poor communicators. The few men in the group are pretty good.

  1. They don't know how to listen.

  2. They don't know how to think or act outside of the lines. They can only function as directed. If you ask them questions that aren't strictly by the book they get confused and upset.

  3. They're all neurotic as fuck. They can't deal with criticism or feeling attacked.

  4. They obfuscate on all things they're not doing well or on time, and on all problems they may have with you.

When men talk they either want to teach you something or work towards a goal. Yes, a lot of it is showboating what they know, but it's at least rational and organized.
