How did you guys turn to MGTOW? How do I convince my friend to?

He’s 16, he likes this girl who doesn’t give a fuck about him. He’s convinced that they’re friends, and she says that they aren’t. But he crushes on her hard and makes videos talking about how beautiful she is (and shes not) She tells him that hes just not “her type” (which is big black guys) He’s really insecure about his height and weight as well. I keep telling him to move on from her but I don’t know how to introduce him to MGTOW. Any suggestions?
