It's been about eight years since my last gf. Once in a while I'll think about it. Then I take a look at my close friends and see how their lives are and that sets me straight. I guess I'm the weird guy in the group that don't want a relationship or kids.

Wait until you start getting the 2AM & 3AM semi-drunken, crying-jag phone calls from them...about how they just found out she's been cheating on them (or filed for divorce, etc.)

Also, the ones where instead, it's the variation: "Shit man, I'm in [or just getting out of] jail on a DV charge... she's probably gonna get a restraining order & kick me out... so I'm gonna need a place to crash for a few weeks til I can get this sorted..." phone calls (those are usually at night too, but sometimes they come the following morning or even mid-day afterwards).

Those are always fun.

And yes... YOU -- as the "still single guy" friend-- are going to be the one getting those calls.

Ha! The only time I feel like that is when I get a speeding ticket or random problem. I'm MGTOW so much I never feel these feels anymore. RIP to my good buddies with a wife/GF situation that makes them feel like this.

This was me after my ex of 1 week told me "Im GOING to (another country) to visit him and Im GOING to have sex with him".

She was truly astonished it hurt me to hear that. For reference, I had a feeling this would happen before we got together. Our relationship lasted 3 years and ended literally exactly how I thought it would. With me in tears and her rebounding to chad.
