Do I need to ditch my beta orbiters?

This is gonna sound really lame I know (but I think I need an outside perspective)....

I have 2 guys I speak to daily, both of which I've slept with before but they both understand and would never ever push for sex (it's been years since I was with either of them). Both of them I've found attractive in very short bursts when they have done something impressive, but they are too submissive and honestly, not physically attractive. I have spent a lot of years coming to terms with my low self esteem issues as a reason for sleeping with or dating guys that I barely like or respect, and I believe I am still keeping them around just for validation. It's been a year since I slept with or dated anyone and I do feel like I am working to improve myself. I really appreciate the things that my 2 friends can teach me but sometimes I can't help but feel annoyed by them and at myself when I think they might be hoping for a relationship. Sometimes I am just disgusted by them when they seem to be overly agreeable or (I think) trying to flirt by be overly complimentary. But then, they are both providing me with attention and advice when I am in my low moments, as well as some helpful career advice.

Does it diminish my chances of meeting someone by hanging out with these two?

If so should I stay loyal and be a good friend in return?

What if I find a relationship - do I get rid of them then out of respect for my new partner?

edit: Thank you for the advice everyone. When considering some of your answers it's pretty clear what I need to do if I am to start better respecting myself and the people I call friend. Likewise, I need to ditch the ex lays/current friends if I'm going to be committed to a partner.

Edit2: just taking stock of the lessons for me here:

- good men value women with integrity (ones who don't use people but have worthy values)

- in a relationship the value of shared goals > value of activites/things

- in any relationship: value of shared activities is dependant on shared goals

- because beta orbiters do not share my vision/goals for the "friendship" this is actively working against both of us (even if I think I'm being kind or loyal)

-being friends with ex sex partners is generally detrimental to new romantic relationships

- platonic friendships = no sex ever and shared goal of no sex ever

- friendship ~= dominating or holding power over the other-

-being kind for the sake of seeing the value of kindness = quality value to hold

Pupose of practising kindness = positive outlook, increased energy for relationships, increased emotional security

-friendship requires shared goals (resulting from quality like values) + resulting actions of shared goals
