Despite the fact that their little "pranlk-lie" -- in addition to the horrendous cost to the kid and his family -- also had a severe, large DIRECT cost to the public of probably a good couple hundred thousand dollars (investigation, prosecution & incarceration costs, etc).

And the thing is, I'm quite certain the "justification" for NOT charging them (perjury, fraud upon the court, etc)... is something along the lines of a perverse-incentive "Well if we charge/convict them then in the future false-accusers will NEVER 'fess up' to lying."

Which is most interesting because it is precisely the OPPOSITE of how any/all other crimes are treated -- including how this boy was treated -- where "punishment" is presumed to have a deterrent effect. (That's how the gynocentric/cucked "hamster" rationalization process works... it's an UNfalsifiable system that ALWAYS finds a way to hand out "pussy passes"; regardless of how contortionistic the hypocritical "logic" has to become.)
