You see men who have about an average IQ arnt the most interested in why something works they just want to know what they need to do. Most police officers don't think long and hard about the laws they are enforcing or how having a ticket quota violates the whole protect and serve doctrine and creates a defacto tax by creative means doctrine. They just wanna do the job sans though like good little robots.

On the other hand men who are a standard deviation above average Intelligence are curious and what to know how and why. The Red Pill fulfills this need by functioning as an uncucked humanities department for western men, something that is in great demand given the POZ takeover.

Over-complication is a result of the simplicity not being sufficient. Like most human ideas, they start out with the creators thinking that they've cracked the code the first time and they have everything right. 98% of the time, this is completely false, with probably only Charles Darwin being a person who cracked the code on the first try with very little being corrected later on.

In comparison, TRP has evolved greatly because if I'm being honest, the majority of people here are losers on Reddit until proven otherwise and as a result they give advice that the majority of men already follow. The typical, workout, haircut, dress well, and be confident stuff are things your average guy does and because thinking nerds drive and enhance TRP, they thought that those four enhancements were all that it took. False.

These thinkers thought a little more, pushed the frontier a little further and realized that dressing well, being confident, lifting, and haircuts is not going to crack the code immediately. Knowledge is a power and there's no such thing as too much knowledge. If it were as simple a picture as you painted it to be then there'd be no need for over-complication.

The over-complication has however, been exploited by those who refuse to improve at all and use the complications like "frame" and "AWALT" to explain away why they ain't really about it. Meh, it all comes down to how badly you want it baby.

I think the whole 'TRP' philosophy is ridiculous, it's based on the premise that relationships are all about dominance, it's essentially a zero-sum game; the reason why many people fall for the other load of bullshit TRP entails is because of the confirmation bias they adopt by following the four simple steps you mentioned above, which are the essentials of manhood, no more, no less. It's honestly comical how people have made the whole idea of manhood into a science. the only people I can see falling for all this subreddit spews are men who have been hurt in a relationship and people with no experience in relationships who are struggling. Bottom-line, apply the simple steps mentioned by OP and hone them over time, and please fuck off this subreddit for your own good.

Eh kinda agree with OP as well as the naysayers here. Red pill for me were concepts I’ve literally known and found out since high school(thank God I grew up with alpha figures). I like this sub because I’m constantly learning vicariously from other men’s experiences (“don’t do what I did, here’s what works”) and sometimes I need a dose of reality to kick my ass into further improving myself and not slack.
