Greetings, even though my username is visible, allow me to introduce myself.

I am re_all. It is a username that I picked as a way to "re spond" to "all" those that I have had odds with.

So it seemed fitting to gut, and re-purpose this identity as the one I use and present to r/MGTOW as a poster, subscriber, and commentator here.

This is my first attempt of a posted invitation to debate. So by all means, be brutal. No other way to learn.

Here is my hypothesis.

"Dating" or "pump-n-dumping" describes actions that ultimately come from a mindset that are not aligned with "Going Your Own Way"

Opening statement

When one decides to go your own way, or indeed- to go anywhere in life- one must first make a decision as to where they are going... figuratively, if not literally.

If it is a man's decision that the way they choose to go includes dating, and having consensual sexual relationships with women, no matter how brief, it is a decision that no one has an immediate right to interfere with.

However, one must consider the most common and prominent detriment men experience when attempting to achieve self-defined success or forging their own identity; is women, and the associations men have (sexual or otherwise) with them. And thus, one should also question the logic of willingly introducing such elements in their lives that can be (and are routinely proven to be) fatal to this overall goal.

Reason / Evidence

One does not have to search extensively on this subreddit, or even the internet at large to find examples of false rape accusations, false abuse (domestic or otherwise) accusations, and false sexual assault accusations.

But more than the false accusations, would be the blatant bias the world at large holds against men overall.

Robbery by divorce, alimony, child support, common-law separations, are all concepts men are aware of, and especially subscribers to r/MGTOW.

Is it not for all these reasons and risks, that men have decided to go their own way (?from women?) in the first place?

Common refutations

In comments on this subreddit I have asked for the strategy to evade or defeat a false accusation of a criminal act, from those who believe that "dating" and "pump-and-dumping" is within acceptable risk and behavior patterns to a man wishing to forge his identity and achieve self-defined success.

To date, the most common answer follows a theme of properly vetting a women they decide to have sexual relations with, that will allow them to preemptively ascertain whether or not the woman is "crazy" or "immoral" enough to do something so depraved as to falsely accuse a man of a crime.

Response

My only reply to such a statement and stance; is my best wishes... as it depends upon a man being able to see through a being that was born and bred to be a master at obfuscation.

And if he fails to see any red flags, he must then depend that the honor and integrity of the same being, will prevent her from lying to a court system and a world that is inherently biased against all men.

And truly, if a man never sees the inside of a courtroom, or never faces a conviction via this method; my hypothesis is defeated. But it would require a lifetime of vigilance, stress, and taking on risks that certainly do not seem to be worth it.

Also, many subscribers to r/MGTOW have stated that no one gets to decide or dictate how one gets to go their own way.

Response

My only response, is acceptance of such a stance. But, I take the same trepidation from that statement, as I would from a man who believes that he truly knows the woman he is about to marry, and it will all turn out okay.

I personally do not believe this stance successfully refutes my hypothesis, as it does not address the risks a man takes by associating with women, and not addressing it, is dangerous.

Many subscribers point to prostitution as a means to satisfy both aspects of the equation.

I concede this argument as being one that mostly* defeats my hypothesis, but very few subscribers on r/MGTOW refer to legally soliciting prostitutes where it concerns "dating" or "pump-and-dumping" and use both terms to refer to women not employed in the legal sex-for-money occupation(s).

* ^(The prostitute is still able to make accusations of abuse, and the man must still face a gynocentric world that will be stacked against him. And a woman who will sell her body for money already has suspect morality.)

Closing statement

I cannot conclude that a man who willingly puts himself, and his future through such risks, as a man attempting to forge his own identity, and success... a MGTOW.

However,

I am absolutely willing to accept that my hypothesis may very well be completely in the wrong, and so I am eager to hear arguments refuting what I have stated here.

I understand this entire post may produce harsh opposition and argument, but it is my hope that I have not come off as insulting to anyone here, regardless the position they hold on the matter. And so, I ask for attacks on the argument itself, as I am willing to have my opinion changed by those who may indeed be wiser, and more informed than I am.
