I'm now less than 30 days away from being completely MGTOW in the sense that my current SO (nearly 11 years together) that I will not have any contractual fiscal obligation to her. Our current lease is up 10/28 and that's that. It wasn't, hasn't, and likely won't be a bad split...maybe I got lucky, the next month will tell. We are in separate states and only communicate via text messages of which none are ever rude, ugly or otherwise filled with hate. Just amicable conversation. We have no shared financial instruments of any kind. We are not in a state that enforces common-law marriages.

All that being said, I feel as if I have an opportunity to start over and hoping to get some insight from you that wish you could do x, or those that wish they had done y instead.

My company is offering voluntary package to leave the company and I have NO idea what to do, but I feel as if I'm in better position than most if they had been or will be faced with a similar scenario. Here is a copy/pasta of my r/personalfinance post.

It will be obvious to most that this is a throwaway account, and my other 2 accounts are tied to r/MGTOW r/theredpill and have read all of the mainstream MGTOW and related TRP (I see TRP has finally been quarantined and wonder how long before this sub is too).

So since I submitted my OP I've had some time to think about the overall situation and I believe I didn't ask the right question (I didn't really ask any question at all).

So here it is:

If you found yourself in a similar situation, what would you do? How would you do things differently? (I'm suspecting more married men w/ children will answer, and that may be the demographic I'm after.)

I make great money for not having a degree and literally have no idea what to do next. A part of me wants to actually incur student loan debt to get a degree, but I'm pretty sure we've seen plenty of examples of a degree not equating to decent salary, so the odds of having a degree making and ultimately making the same money that'll otherwise be offered without a degree + the debt and interest is likely quite high.

My package to leave is 38k (less taxes) (will be closer + to 40 as there will be unused vacation payout added to package offer)) which also comes with 34 weeks of paid healthcare.
