Do what you want. Time will reveal all. Does she have a good relationship with her family? Does she verifiably have interests and goals that match your own? Are there any red flags? Was she a dude? Etc.

If you come only to a conclusion that she is a rare unicorn, then what have you got to lose except half your assets and physical and mental well being if you are wrong?

Your going to have to continue to re define who you are and what you do to comply with her ever changing whims. Could be monthly or yearly the moment you can't continue to shift to what her ideas of happiness mean at any given time you will become the classic "inattentive ", " ignoring her needs", etc. Then you'll be replaced for the next in line . emotionally leaving you confused and dumbfounded. This is why there is no unicorn my friend they all do this and it's your decision wether or not your want to participate in this cycle or just simply focus on things you want and what's good for u.

It's not entirely they're fault, woman are raised to believe that every aspect of society should cow to there whims. It was sold as "girl power" in the 90's during the dawn of 3rd wave feminism.
