I had a guy take baths with leeches daily for his (no idea wtf was wrong with him). 4 months he went and brought the right leeches from the doctor witch were expensive af and the doctor needed the leeches back, dead or alive so they don't end up in the water stream or whatever. In short, he has no more of that problem and he recommended the treatment if applicable. To summarize, apologise to the leeches. They don't deserve the comparison.

Also leeches use some anesthesia and there is very little to no scaring if done correctly.
