It is anecdotal, and she’s legit crazy,so I can’t use it as an actual example of proof, but I’m more concerned about her boyfriend than anything. I knew it was bad, but not this bad. She’s a compulsive liar, and she just accused a man of raping her to get him in jail. My parents found out and cleared it all up (she told her boyfriend not the police) so the guy is fine. But her boyfriend as far as I can tell is stupid enough to trust that a few months of therapy will turn her around and she’ll never do it again. But she has the emotional maturity of a 5 year old. What happens when later down the road they move in together, and she doesn’t get her way one last time? How will he defend himself when she gets 1 more IQ point and actually goes to the police with this bullshit accusation? People don’t change, at least not that easily. Especially her when she says “I promise I’ll never lie again” what do I do? Do I pull him to the side and say “hey bro it’s a good idea to cut your losses on this one and find another girl” or should I just let things play out? I like the guy, but at the same time it’s not my business.
