When you own a business like mine, you get to see a wide pletora of different human beings and behaviours, but I've noticed one staple. Every time a couple finishes their meal/drink I always see the woman make the same swift move: going to the bathroom. As soon as she disappears behind the door, the man quickly comes to me and asks to pay the bill. During this ritual, ladies usually spend way more time inside said bathroom, compared to other times they've been there during the evening. When they finally show up, they never ask questions about the bill, it's like they believe there's no bill at all, that everything is on the house or something.

I've seen this happen so many times it became a drinking game with my employee. We get drunk every freaking night.
