Couple of words of wisdom:

13:7 Some people pretend to be rich, but have nothing. Others pretend to be poor, but own a fortune.

13:8 The rich have to use their money to save their lives, but no one threatens the poor.

Like others have said here, you will be spending your money on bodyguards and protecting yourself from kidnap if you show your wealth in some countries.

$250k here in the US is very good, $50k in Latin countries is very good.

But don't take the US attitude to Latin countries, you will get hurt.

I've never been to Venezuela, but I hear if you go to the Colombia-Venezuela border, specifically the city of Cucuta, right now it's full of young Venezuelan women willing to have sex in exchange for a few dollars. How hot they are I can't say, but with Venezuela's reputation as a beauty pageant contestant factory you might run into a few 8s and even decent looking 7s. Personally, if I.had my passport on file and perhaps $1000 in my pocket, I would go right now.
