Women only find a men valuable when he can provide and be a useful utility to her. This Is true even if she makes more money than you they will refuse to do their share because they deserve more from you and refuse to do anything for you.

Older couple I know.

Husband and wife both worked, but he made more -- until his company downsized and he was let go. He ended up taking a lower paying job in another state, while she stayed in California, and HE kept paying the California mortgage on a house he didn't live in. He lived in a tiny apartment and didn't even have cable.

That kept up for over a year, with him paying her bills from a thousand miles away and she blowing her paycheck on whatever bs she wants. So he stopped paying the mortgage.

When the bank came after them she blamed him, and still does. They sold the house at a very small profit, and she took all the money.

She openly admits that she had enough money to pay the bills, but it was "his responsibility" and she would rather see the house get foreclosed than spend her own money. While he hadn't even lived there for two years by that point.

Somewhere in there they filed for divorce, but that's dragging on because she wants even more and more of his money.

I don't know how he lived with her for 30 years...

That's people in general to be honest, but definitely worse so with women. Im a fairly competent blue collar tradesmen myself. I know enough to where I have handled my own plumbing, electrical, autorepairs and tech repairs myself. Problem being is my whole neighborhood knows this as well, because they often see me outside when I'm working. Now they are constantly come to me with their problems that I want nothing to do with. But I realized it's not really a bad thing, I'm now the most valuable guy in the neighborhood as far as my neighbors are concerned and thusly hold a bit of power and privledged in my neighborhood. I don't even feel bad about it though I don't really take advantage of it either because I realized these people are doing the same thing to me. I'm only as valuable as the skills I offer them. So I treat all my interactions now as business/bartering. You want me to install a new sink for you, but don't want to pay $75+ an hour for a plumber? Ok, well what do you have to offer me in return?
