The thing I like about MGTOW is basically the only thing soyciety can make us do against our own will is cohab, but I don't see it hapening any time soon. With taxes, we're financially already married anyway.
So at least I don't get to be audio-stomped on repeatedly non-stop by a (ever increasing weight size) stiletto at home. I don't have to tolerate something aging at an accelerated rate, boring my soul away, not knowing what it desires to be fed today, backgroundnoiseing about FB he-said-she-lied posts, hoping it goes out with her best GFFs and hopefully ends up cheating on me with someone "better" (whom I tipped off and paid to be there, for the last 3 years weekly ]=) ) and fucking off out of my life, taking its doom generator with it, asap.
You know that feel when you don't really listen, phased out, just nodding and "yup, mhm, a-ha"-ing and then you register she ended her nonsense with a question and now you're fucked because all this time you've been thinking, like a real BF/husband, about that pic showing you how to make a noose and don't know what question to answer this time (again, for fun, the N-th time, just for her to make sure, because it's not doubting you at all and what if something changed in the last 15 minutes, you know)? Well, I don't anymore, I consider myself fully healed. ]=)

I still miss my ex-wife but I don’t want to. You seem to be able to mentally overcome the “love” feelings and see the negative parts of being in a relationship. How were you able to accomplish this frame of mind, or is it just something you are capable of doing while I may not be so lucky?

Hate will keep you alive where love fails.
I've spend over 6 months in an active combat area. Lost people that become closer to me then my own kin. Seen bad shit. Done bad shit. Enjoyed it. Got out and went back to "normal" life like I've never left. Never had PTSD or any kind of issues.
My ex's betrayal caused me pain that I have never felt before. Physical pain was a relief as it dulled the other one. It took me years to heal and recover but some damage is permanent - it's like after feeling the pain for too long deadens your ability to feel other things.
When you're in situation when you're packing your kid's clothes and toys, having him ripped out of your life, without knowing if you'll ever see him again... yeah, that will help to overcome the “love” feelings you've ever had for the ex.

Hmmm... you know... you know what love is, perhaps? "Love" just might be that feeling you get when you think you can't do better.
How were you able to accomplish this frame of mind, or is it just something you are capable of doing while I may not be so lucky?
I personally got it somewhat this way. Add pain, regrets, hurt, being fragile, super glue and time plus a few other things. Welcome to now.
What you can do is ask yourself why you're "feeling attached". You see, exactly the way you are, you're perfect. You don't even need to improve. Less is more and simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Not easy to achieve at all, that letting go (of fear of future and regrets from the past mostly), because we're inclined to run away from here and now. Because, well, more reasons than people.
But most importantly, laugh. Laugh more. Laugh every time you can. If you can't, there's something wrong with you imo. Perhaps it's just momentary, that's ok, but long term? (sniff sniff) "What's wrong?"

Why did Phil Hendrie go off the air? His two-sided character was funny in LA. I'd still be listening today. Oh well, there are still the oldies on youtube.

he quit his radio show (which was amazing) back in like 2006, to pursue a career in Hollywood. he got a bit part on some shitty sitcom that was cancelled after like one season. then he went back to radio a few years later, but it just wasn't the same, and he didn't have an audience anymore, so he quit again. now he just does some lame podcast that barely anyone listens to and does left-wing political rants on twitter.
to the surprise of no one, his wife left him after his career went into the toilet (and he was also about 300 pounds). he had helped raise and financially support her four kids, but his beta bucks weren't needed anymore since they were all adults by this time.
phil was always a blue pilled fool. he used to rip tom leykis all the time for being sexist.

I know Hendry was a simp, but still funny as hell.
Tom Leykis screwed up by going online instead of staying on the radio. The whole show changed when he eliminated the public calling into the show, which was half the fun listening to him.
