Let's break it down. In woman-speak:

"Tall" means "good genetics".

This could also mean, in an evolutionary perspective, that he has good chances of survivability which also translates into increasing her childrens chances of reproducing/surviving.

"Dark" means "mysterious, emotionless, dark - triad tendencies (psychopathy, narcissism, Machiavellianism), dangerous".

Again, this translates into him having abundance (emotionless = abundance = pre-election by other women), exhibiting selfish tendencies which equals a greater ability to procure resources and manipulate others into achieving whatever is desired (probably increased resources or sexual reproduction even if by force).

"Handsome" means, again, "good genetics".

This is subtle - speak for him being a healthy, strong male, and her offspring obtaining an increased chance of reproduction and survival because they too will most likely be healthy.

TL;DR "Tall, Dark, and Handsome" is woman-speak for "he has good genetics, is healthy, and can provide for me and my offspring by any means necessary even if by force".
