That’s a good question. I would hope anything that took away my freedom and used me like a dog would be something I could escape from. Easier said than done.

If marriage was safe, if it was a good deal and productive, I imagine most of us would not be mgtow. If hypergamy and feminism wasn’t rampant most of us wouldn’t look for an alternate lifestyle. It’s in our nature to be a provider and be protective for our species. We want to fuck, we want to pair bond; and the social program for that is broken today. If marriage was a safe place to scratch that itch, the majority of us would.

Now that’s not to say there would be mgtow or monks in the world. It would still have its place. But I don’t think it would have the same driving force that our current mgtow has. If the dynamic creating mgtow goes away, it will go away as well.

But it’ll always be there as an option. Whenever needed you as a man can step away from what you think isn’t sensible and be alone. We’re unique because, once it’s been reached, happiness is found within and is more pure that way.
