My father, 2 brothers and 2 uncles have all divorced in the past 15 years. Most are paying alimony and child support, while trying to build their lives again and recover what they have lost.

I am the only undivorced and unencumbered one of the lot. Why you may ask? Well I am a short arse, something which I used to hate with a passion. Being overlooked by the girls hurts man, but it also does something else. It gives you perspective, being the outsider, watching how other people's relationships plays out...

Now, I am financially successful, very happy and grateful for my height. If it wasn't for my shortcoming, I would have been stuck in a job I hated, living in a shithole while slaving away to support an ex-wife who hated my guts and was poisoning my children against me.

Women now regularly approached me for coffee, a movie, help them with something at their house etc. But, I have seen the light. That would be a hard, "No, thank you madam, I do not want what you are selling."
