Looking for some good quotes and reading material on father, grandfathers, ancestors, patriarchal lineage. Tried googling but goodreads and such sites are filled with anti-genealogy, anti-ancestor worship ideas. I know modern western society has a different take on this compared to, say, the Hindu and Chinese ancestor worship and lineage tracking. Maybe that's the reason we have so many issues - society in general doesn't respect where we came from and forgets the toils of our fathers of the fathers of our fathers.
