OP, I hope you take this in the way I am truly offering it.

Coming into a forum where men are Going Their Own Way, and pretty much demanding they do something to please you does, quite frankly, come off as preachy at best, and downright bitchy at worst. And then when you turn around and get salty with them, it compounds it.

Your message is a good one, all in all. Just needs repackaging.

I don't give a fuck how someone lives. They aren't my problem. If they want to live like a king or a peasant, it's up to them.

This is Men Going Their Own Way. If their Way is living a sad life such as you've described, and they have come to terms with it and understand it, so be it.

Dogs are meant to be with people that live out in the country side. Like farms or a home that is on a big piece of land. Not the cities or small towns.

I hate having a dirty house. I don’t clean as often as I want, but i can maintain. On another note, I used to have chicks over always telling me they’re awesome at cleaning and would follow with “you can cook and I can clean. Haha” Only one actually did, and I had to re-wash the dishes later. But if I’m tired, I’m not cleaning shit and just laying around watching movies with my dogs. Hahaha. The house owner in ops post was probably going though some kind of depression, I don’t think op is being bitchy or picky like woman at all just in completely different state of mind above the dude with the dirty ass house. Props for getting there man, honestly I see too many guys in a shitty place because of how bad a woman has broken them or still is beating them. It’s more of a wake up call for others, living like that is unhealthy and doing so just gives women a higher sense of power that she was able to win, beat you and leave you for dead.

So you're sensitive to dust/dog hair/ etc. because you have allergies. Many people don't have those problems. I bought a property that had damage from previous pets where there was a dog that apparently lived in one of the bedrooms and did its business on the floor. Took several years, multiple runs with scrubbing, vinegar and so on, to get the smell gone but it was still worth it because I got a great deal on the house. Had no problems renting out that room last year.

So you want to enforce your own ideals onto other people. That's exactly what the SJWs and HOAs try to do too. I prefer to stay in my place where I don't have to deal with people that try to tell me how to live.

I live in an apartment and if something needs worked on then there are maintenance guys that come and do it. I take pride in that when they visit they always compliment how nice and neat I keep things in my place. Apparently the other tenants live trashy.

The wet dog comment is funny. Reminds me of when this female customer came into work one time and she had her dog in her car with her, she smelled like wet dog and I'll never forget it. I think about it every time I see her, she also smokes.

I'm not a fan of pets anymore at all. I used to have cats and had to use lint rollers all the time. Never again. I also had a dog once, a min pin and he tore up everything and pooped on the floor. A huge hassle to clean up after.

I also think of another time a couple came into work and the back of the guy's hoodie was COVERED in dog hair. I don't know if there is a couch that was covered in it or if they were fucking on the floor or what but it was insane and he was oblivious to it.

As I mentioned with smoking, that can ruin places as well and turn the walls yellow and of course leave a nasty smell.

People leave clothes and trash everywhere.
